My son who is a newly graduated hospice nurse with more than $50,000 in student loans and his wife who will graduate nursing school August 1 with an equal amount of student loans are expecting their first baby on October3. They have to live on a very tight budget.
They did some shopping at the Babies R Us in Salinas CA. Two days ago they were very excited because the very helpful clerk gave them a special deal on a futuristic crib mattress that was to good to pass up. They texted me so excited. I went to see it today.
Had them go online and check it out. What the clerk sold them was a display sample not a real mattress. It cannot be used in a crib. Only to show the technology of the mattress.
They were shocked. Went back to the store customer service said I’m sure they must have told you it’s a prop no refund. They do not have a single penny to waste.
Our family has shopped at your stores for more than 40 years. I don’t want it to end on a sour note. They need a mattress can you help?
